Drug price rises by 5,500pc after being acquired by start-up

The price of Daraprim, a drug used to treat a life-threatening parasitic infection, increases from $US13.50 per tablet to $US750, after being acquired by a start-up founded by former hedge fund investor Martin Shkreli.
